Joint Replacement:
Typically joint replacement is indicated in the following disorders:
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Severe fractures
- Post-traumatic arthritis
Dr. Loniewski has pioneered the Joint Replacement program at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Livingston Campus (formerly McPherson hospital). This program will be used as a model for many hospitals throughout the Trinity Health system. He specializes in primary and revision joint replacements of the knee and hip. In addition, he has recently gained fame for using a new implant in the hip that may provide a longer lasting joint replacement than older models. Dr. Farjo also specializes in joint replacement of the shoulder and knee.
