The patient portal allows patients to access their medical information in a secure, confidential manner. The patient portal allows patients to view appointments, vitals, diagnoses, current prescriptions, medication lists and drug allergies. Patients can also send messages to the office including medication refill requests. To register for our patient portal, you may do so in person at our office with valid identification.
IMPORTANT: The patient portal is NOT to be used for urgent or emergency situations. In the event of an emergency, call 911 or go directly to the emergency room. Please understand that it may take up to 3 business days to receive a response to an email request. IF you do NOT receive a response within 3 business days, please contact us at (810) 299-8550.
Patient Portal Agreement
You must agree to this “Patient Portal Agreement” before you can use it. Please read the terms of the agreement as described below.
Password Information
You may be prompted to reset your password. Your new password must have 6-16 characters, including one letter, one number, and one special character. Please take care of your portal password. If you lose your password or username, you may request a new one on the portal website. Remember to log out and close your browser when finished accessing password protected portal services. This prevents someone else from accessing your personal information if you leave, share, or use a public computer (i.e., like a library, kiosk, or internet cafe).

We are happy to provide secure messaging as a very valuable service to you and your family. For simple questions and actions, we frequently respond back as a value added service. However, we may direct you to make an appointment if the problem is more complex. By using messaging, you understand and agree to not hold Advanced Orthopedic Specialists, nor its employees or officers liable for any unanswered Patient Portal requests or messages.

Understand that access to our patient portal will be monitored through a logon audit.

By using this web portal, you hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Advanced Orthopedic Specialists and its agents, employees, successors and assigns from and against any and all actions, claims, suits, demands, damages, judgments, losses and any other costs, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees and collection costs arising from any act, error or omission of the Practice and the provision of or failure to provide any of the Services within the scope of the Patient Portal duties as outlined in this Agreement, including but not limited to, advisory and consulting services.
Privacy Statement
Advanced Orthopedic Specialists, P.C. is fully compliant with all HIPPAA regulations. We will not sell, utilize or distribute any personal information to a third party. Anonymous data from your use of this patient portal may be shared with a third party or governmental agencies due to contractual obligations in order to maintain compliance.
